LogiPen – Digital Pen for Efficient Hospital and Clinic Use

July 25, 2010 at 10:52 amCategory:Blog

The digital pen is a practical and efficient tool, which could potentially benefit hospital doctors. Digital pens can convert doctor’s handwriting into a digital file instantly, which can save countless hours of retyping patients’ notes, it’s easier to archive, and takes up less space.

Hospitals and clinics can benefit from digital pen documents that can be easily shared and stored. Handwritten patient files can get easily lost, and if patient data have to be sent from one hospital to the next, the files can take a long time to get there.

“Using digital pens as a solution could increase speed and accuracy of information.” says Sagi Stunis, Marketing Director of LogiPen NOTES, an online distributer of digital pens. “Doctors are currently using normal keyboards for data input. Most doctors are reluctant to use a keyboard often, because of slow typing and typing errors they make. It would be much more convenient if their handwriting could just be converted automatically into a digital file using a digital pen. LogiPen NOTES digital pen can do that.”

With LogiPen NOTES digital pen, hospitals and clinics can easily collect, store and analyze data on patient registration, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, stock/inventory, x-ray and ward management by using digital tools.

LogiPen NOTES digital pen is a mobile digital pen that captures everything you write, draw or sketch through a transmitter, (connected to your computer or offline) allowing you to transfer the information instantly and directly to your computer through USB cable creating information that you can convert to text, edit, email, and export for use into other compatible programs. LogiPen NOTES digital pen allows you to work in both digital pen and tablet/mouse mode.

Some models of the wireless digital pen must have the USB cord connected to your computer, but LogiPen NOTES wireless digital pen has both online and offline modes. This means that the wireless digital pen device can be used both remotely offline (for example in a class room or at a sales call), or it could be connected to the computer as a pen and tablet input tool and mouse. A very business savvy young college student took advantage of this wireless digital pen innovation. She noticed that many her fellow classmates were sleeping through and missing lectures. She began taking notes with her wireless digital pen and uploading and storing notes on her computer. The whiz kid began selling each day’s notes online to fellow students offering another service at an extra charge of ten minutes consulting to go over specific areas in the lecture that anyone didn’t understand. She took advantage of her wireless digital pen eventually getting back cost of the pen and more! She charged three dollars for notes and five dollars for the personal consulting from the wireless digital pen. LogiPen’s wireless digital pen is a very affordable asset.

If considering a wireless digital pen, LogiPen NOTES wireless digital pen has one of the more advanced software in the market. LogiPen NOTES wireless digital pen works with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7, both 32/64 bit versions. You may not have entrepreneurial ambitions as the student referenced, yet, just being able to upload your handwritten notes on a computer and convert it instantly to text for emailing, exporting into Word, Excel, or PowerPoint is a life and great time saver! For now you may feel like you don’t need a wireless digital pen, but perhaps if a need has been discovered for 14k gold fishing poles and champagne with 23k gold flakes priced at over $100, why not get a wireless digital pen writing device that no one else has? Why not try LogiPen NOTES wireless digital pen?

Logipen – DIGITAL PEN & TABLET DEVICE

November 10, 2009 at 11:59 pmCategory:Blog

Thinking about all the hours i’ve spent writing and then typing not to talk about scanning some stuff I did , This pen is amazing it solves it all. Not to talk about it converts handwriting seamlessly to any word processor documents with the supplied intelligent character recognition (ICR) using native Microsoft ink engine

And the software is probably one of the best I seen around for this type of device

We were pretty impressed by the experience We can see this being useful in meetings, on the move or in other situations where carrying a notebook computer and typing directly isn’t practical

it is the first device we have seen that is fully compatible with Microsoft ink native format that works in all office software’s

verdict :  9 out of 10  you got to have this device ,this is defiantly one of the most innovative product of the year.
